EMiLA, (European Master in Landscape Architecture) is a exchange program between the master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from five European universities:

  • Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Paysage Versailles, France

ADMISSION PROCESS

STEP 1: PRE-ENROLMENT

1. Sign up

You must use the pre-enrolment application for master’s degree courses: PRE-ENROLMENT and register on the application.

2. Upload the information

  • Log in and enter your personal and academic details and upload the required documentation.
  • Once you have entered the details and uploaded the documents, submit the online application form for administrative and academic review.
  • Use the relevant section of the pre-enrolment application form to explain what documents you are providing as proof of your eligibility to enroll in the master’s degree course. You may also upload these documents as attachments.
  • You may make changes to your application until the deadline for pre-enrolment by entering your username and the assigned password.

3. Pay the fee

Students must pay a pre-enrolment fee of €30.

4.What documents I need?

  • Degree of the studies that give access to the Master and transcript
  • CV
  • Motivation letter
  • Fullfiled survey designed by ETSAB PDF
  • Portfolio
  • Grants awarded
  • B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or equivalent (Spanish, for those candidates from no Spanish-speaking countries)
  • Certificate of average scores equivalence of university studies in foreign centers of the Ministerio de Educacion, Cultura y Deporte. It is an online and free procedure. More information on the MECD website

5. Wait for the results

On the established decision date, you will receive an e-mail informing you of whether or not you have been admitted to the master’s degree course. You can view the decision in the pre-enrolment application. Final admission to the programme will be subject to confirmation of the academic details provided.

The students will be able to access the Universitary Master in Landscape as long as the studies that constitute their admission profile are proved and admitted by the ETSAB, according to the specific admission requirements and valuation criteria of merits.

 

6. If you are admitted…

Succesful applicants mus ACCEPT the vacancy in the pre-enrolment application and pay €300 following the instructions given in the form they will have received by e-mail. This amount will be deducted from the enrolment fee when you officially enrol, but if you do not enrol you will not be entitled to a refund unless the master’s degree is cancelled.

The acceptance of the admitted students will be settled by the Master’s Academic Committee, which will prepare a report of the admission binding report and necessary complementary formation credits, if appropriate.

Students from non-EU member countries can use the letter of admission to begin to apply for the visa they will need to complete the master’s degree course in Spain.

Students who are admitted at the time of enrolment must submit the original of the degree and academic records. Those issued abroad must be duly translated and legalized, when necessary.

STEP 2: ENROLMENT

2. What documents I need?

Students with a previous Degree obtained in the UPC:
  • The receipt of the discount on the enrolment fee, if necessary.
Students with a previous Degree obtained in other Spanish universities:
  • Photocopy of the ID card.
  • The original and a photocopy of the Degree (or certified copy of the Degree) or receipt of payment of issuance fees.
  • Personal Academic Certificate (original or certified copy) where are described the subjects taken with the grades get and the number of credits/hours from each of them with the overall average grade.
  • The receipt of the discount on the enrolment fee, if necessary.
Students with a previous Degree obtained in foreign universities:
  • Photocopy of the ID card.
  • The original and a photocopy of the certificate of recognition, if necessary.
  • The original and a photocopy of the Degree.
  • Personal Academic Certificate (original or certified copy) where are described the subjects taken with the grades get and the number of credits/hours from each of them and information about the qualification system applied.
  • Certificate of middle qualifications equivalence of university studies in foreign centers of the Ministerio de Educacion, Cultura y Deporte. It is an online and free procedure.
  • The receipt of the discount on the enrolment fee, if necessary.

The documents 3 and 4 must be official and original documentation, issued by competent authorities and authenticated through diplomatic channels. 3. Methods of payment

  • Direct debit: the payment by direct debit, by installments (or applying for scholarship) it is essential that, before the enrolment, the submission of the direct debit order form signed by the holder and the student to the University.
  • Cash:In a maximum period of 5 days from the date of formalization of the enrolment. It is not necessary to submit any payment receipt to the School secretary.
  • Directly in the bank offices or cash machines of the member banking entities submitting a copy of the enrolment form.
  • By credit or debit card online using the e-secretaria.
  • Instalment payment financed by AGAUR(FINAN program of AGAUR): It consists on a loan (a little opening committee has to be paid) that allows the student to pay by instalments the enrolment, dividing it in 10 months without interests.

As soon as the unit responsible for the master’s degree course has validated the submitted documentation, the enrolment can be processed. Once the enrolment fee has been paid at the relevant bank, the applicant will officially be a student of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya master’s degree course.
